SKU Normalization & Lookup Tool

The challenge

Growth by acquisition left a manufacturing company tracking product SKUs separately in each acquired business and again in the parent, with inconsistent data, roughly a third uncategorized, and no way to look across all of them at once.

What we built

We normalized 1,768,427 SKUs across the parent business and every acquired business into one consistent store, reconciling unit chaos, spelling conventions, and the same product living under a different name in each brand. On top of it we built a tool that pulls complete SKU information across every business at once, with each change reviewable through a generated changelog.
